ACCOUNT TERMS
NextGen Academy member terms.
The rules that keep family accounts, bookings, payments and participation clear.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply when a parent or legal guardian creates a NextGen Academy family account, adds a child, books a session, enrols in a recurring programme or buys kit. The account holder confirms that they are at least 18 and have authority to act for each child they add.
Accurate family and medical information
You must keep contact, emergency, medical, allergy and medication information accurate and current. Tell NextGen promptly about any change that could affect safe participation. Coaches may use this information only where needed to deliver sessions safely and in line with safeguarding and privacy duties.
Bookings, attendance and conduct
A place is confirmed only when the platform shows it as confirmed and any required payment has succeeded. Session times, venues, capacity and age requirements are shown at booking. Players and adults must follow reasonable safety, safeguarding and behaviour instructions. NextGen may refuse or end participation where safety or welfare is at risk.
Fees, recurring payments and late joining
One-off bookings and kit purchases are charged at the price shown at checkout. Recurring programmes use the payment schedule shown before authorisation. Where late joining is allowed, charges begin from the agreed joining date and do not backdate to sessions before that date. Failed or overdue payments may suspend future attendance after reasonable notice.
Cancellations, changes and refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the programme or product information shown when you book. NextGen may change a coach, theme, venue or time where reasonably necessary and will communicate material changes. If NextGen cancels a paid service and cannot offer a suitable alternative, the affected amount will be credited or refunded.
Kit orders
Please check each product, player, size and quantity before payment. Order status is available in the member area. Personalised, worn or used kit may not be returnable unless faulty. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Safeguarding and emergencies
NextGen operates safeguarding procedures for children and young people. In an urgent situation, staff may contact emergency services and the emergency contacts held on the family account. Concerns should be reported using the published safeguarding contact route.
Accounts and security
Keep sign-in details confidential and tell NextGen immediately if you believe an account is compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure of NextGen’s systems. Access may be suspended to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law.
Privacy and records
Personal data is processed to administer accounts, safeguard players, provide coaching, take payments and meet legal obligations. Permission and terms decisions are recorded with the policy version, account and time. You may request access, correction or other applicable UK data-protection rights through NextGen.
Liability and governing law
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, NextGen is not responsible for unforeseeable loss or loss caused by information the account holder failed to provide. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Changes and contact
These terms are effective from 21 July 2026. Material changes will be presented for acceptance or notified through the account before they take effect. The version recorded with your acceptance is retained.
